RED JASPER EGYPTIAN PORTRAIT BUST OF AN OFFICIAL OR PRIEST
Traces of an inscription on the back pillar, the statue would have been a temple dedication. The use of such a large piece of so rare and valuable a material indicates the gentleman was of some importance.
